Section 2 - contact and personal data
In order to contact you, we have to maintain your data. This includes your contact information, records of previous contact we have made or attempted to make with you, dates and amounts of donations, and information on how we know you. This data is located on an encrypted hard drive on our personal computer and encrypted on our personal cell phones. We use this data to contact you about our ministry, fundraising needs, and personal lives.
If at any time your contact information changes, please let us know so we can update our records. There is a link in Section 5 to update this information.
If at any time you no longer wish to hear from us, you can let us know and we will remove your data from our records. You can contact let us know of this change by emailing us at email@example.com.
If at any time you would like to see the data we have on you, please let us know and we will share that with you. We will never sell, lease, or distribute any data we have on you without your permission, except as required by law.
Section 3 - Travel
Due to the nature of our work with YWAM as missionaries, we sometimes travel outside of the European Union. Because of this, data that we maintain on you could also be taken with us to other countries. This does not change the diligence with which we maintain and protect your data.
Section 4 - donors data
If you donate to our ministry on a monthly basis we will send you our monthly newsletter via email, thank you notes, and annual updates via mail, and may contact you for other reasons via email, mail, phone, or text message. As a monthly supporter, you are giving us permission to use your contact information in any way we need for our ministry. We use your data as described in Section 2.
